  5. First of all: No, I haven't port GNU binutils for Atari!

  7. What I've done is hacking gas - and only gas - for Atari because gcc 2.8.x
  8. produces assembler output that does'nt work with the good old gas 1.38.
  9. The only thing I've done to port gas 2.9.1 for Atari is to add Atari to the 
  10. configure scripts :-)
  11. After compiling this hacked sources I've got a gas that works fine with
  12. gcc 2.8.x assembler output and produces object files which can be linked 
  13. with the old gcc-ld PL40 to correct executables :-))
